David Schneider

David Schneider is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Finance.
David has spent almost 35 years serving vulnerable Texans with several state agencies and currently serves as a Deputy Accounting Director for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
As the son of a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, David has seen first hand the impact military service has on an individual and their families.
David has lived in Lockhart since 1996, but his family has been in Lockhart and the surrounding area since 1883. He is a founding member of the Gaslight-Baker Theatre and currently serves as Vice-President of the theatre’s board. He is active with Grace Lutheran Church Lockhart and serves on their church council.
Serving vulnerable Texans has been part of David’s life and he believes that being part of Veterans Dignity Village is an excellent way to serve those who served.
